The 3rd period Modern Dance class is a group of very advanced and experienced dancers with backgrounds in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and/or gymnastics. Technique and knowledge of these styles is stressed for students interested in auditioning. In this class, students will discover performing, teaching, and choreographing opportunities. Not only does this class allow students to participate in something they enjoy, it is also a great place to meet new people and make friends.

Requirements and credits:
Any 9th-12th grade student interested may audition for the class. If admitted to the class, the dancer will receive 1/2 Physical Education credit in the fall semester and 1/2 Fine Arts credit in the spring semester.
